on other news, i finally have a couple verses / intro sections i've been kind of happy with. now it's just laying out the lyrics and finishing something original. it's definitely not anything great but i'm happy that i'm getting better at composition and ableton. moving next week so it'll be slowed down just a little bit, hoping that i can get everything realistically moved in about a day or two

also, touring a new place tomorrow afternoon, they want to bump my rent by 350/m and that's not something i'm willing to eat. But! i'm hoping tomorrow has some good outcomes.
in better news, i'm getting more comfortable with ableton. forcing myself to use it for more electronic stuff has been good to getting me used to more of the tools. also hitting a really big digicore / jr mood has been helpful with inspiration.

anyway if you haven't listened to GABUISLOST's new album Bite Me, i can highly recommend. even with all the vore references x3. weird music update for my july playlist, it's been pretty sparse. only 7 tracks (27ish minutes) which has been extremely weird. i need to start finding new music again. been pretty quiet lately. anyway goooood nightttt no more weird rambles.</p>
good afternoon2026-07-05T00:00:00Zhttps://surshy.neocities.org/blog/#2026-07-05<p>finally started getting back into creative hobbies. have consistently been able to do scales in 4ths and 6ths around 130 bpm eighth notes. started retexturing a few things on substance painter to be more in line with that i want, and actually trying to optimize for rave worlds outside of my plushie. also finished a handful of lyrics for 4 songs. nothing set in stone for composition outside of the lyrics though, some drafts of things in ableton but i dont like much except the main motif on pretty much all of it. been kind of hard to isolate what i dont like about it but it's whatevs ヽ(´ー｀)┌</p>
